It offers a mask medium with outstanding characteristics and with unusual physical properties: very flexible and absolutely insoluble in water, it bears similarity to natural skin. Each individual mask consists of a finely structured biocellulose membrane which hugs all of the facial contours to offer a perfect fit like a second skin. The minute biocellulose fibers form a three-dimensional network. This is particularly absorptive for the hydrating active substance solution which is used to soak the Biocellulose Mask, making it an effective active substance carrier. The comfort is immediately noticeable during application: the mask membrane lies gently on the skin, hugging it. It cools in a remarkable manner and thoroughly soaks the upper layers of skin with high quantities of moisture. Both in addition to and in combination with a JANSSEN COSMETICS concentrate, each application really hits the spot: the allrounder amongst masks is transformed into a skin type-specific specialist in the beauty salon (see Skin Applets).

THE ALL-ROUNDER AMONGST MASKS FOR ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONCENTRATES

Main Active Substance

• Sorbitol polymer: Biotechnologically derived polysaccharide, obtained from plant substrates (maize and soya) by means of fermentation, forms an elastic film on the skin and binds water molecules, intensively and sustainably moisturizes the upper layers of skin down to the depths, leaving the skin feeling particularly soft and supple
• Long-chain hyaluronic acid: Moisturizing and moisture binding
• Glycerin: Trivalent alcohol, constituent of plant-based lipids, moisture binding, reduces the horny skin’s trans-epidermal water loss
• Collagen: Moisturizing and moisture-binding, lifts the skin
• Aloe vera: Hydrates and soothes the skin

Instructions

Prepare the skin as usual (cleansing, peeling). Apply an active substance concentrate corresponding to the skin type and press in gently.
1st step: Pull open the sachet at the tab, remove the contents and place onto a plate. Carefully unfold until the facial oval is lying fully on the plate. The Biocellulose Mask is located centrally between two protective carrier layers: a blue fleece and a white nylon fabric.
2nd step: Slowly peel off and dispose of the blue fleece. Now place the Bio cellulose Mask onto the customer’s face and press on gently. The second carrier layer consisting of nylon fabric (white) now points upwards. Simply peel this off as well.
3rd step: Adapt the Bio cellulose Mask to the facial contours. To do this, stroke the mask smooth using a spatula to create a “second skin”. Stroke out any air bubbles.
4th step: Allow to work in for 15 -20 minutes.
5th step: Peel the Bio cellulose Mask off and continue the treatment as desired or conclude it (e.g. massage or concluding cream).
Tip: The mask offers particularly pleasant cooling and refreshment on hot days and/or if the skin is irritated. However, certain treatment situations also
require more warmth. In such cases, simply heat the sachet in a warm water bath (30-35°C) for a few minutes before opening. Apply the mask as described and allow it to work in with an additional warm compress on top
